Plans and Pricing for Restaurants

Your Weh Fi Nyam listing starts free: claim it, keep your hours and phone number right, and add a photo. When you want more, a Pro listing is J$3,000 a month (about US$19) or J$30,000 a year (about US$189), and Sponsored placement on a food-type page in your town is J$6,000 a month (about US$38) at the founding rate, or J$60,000 a year (about US$377). Claim your listing first, then use the contact form to ask about a plan.
This is for restaurants, cafés, bars, takeaways, caterers, cookshops, jerk centres and bakeries across Jamaica. You can start with the free claimed listing and ask for paid features only when they make sense for your business.
Start with the free claimed listing
Claiming or managing your listing is free. You can confirm or update the restaurant name, address, phone number, opening hours and website. One photo and a short description can be added as well. Every change is checked by hand.
The free listing gives customers useful details before they decide where to eat. Keep your hours, phone number and location current, especially when your opening times change for holidays or special events.
There is no online checkout for plans yet. To begin, claim your listing. If you need to update a business detail, use the contact form.
Compare the three choices
Choose the option that matches what you need from your listing.
Free claimed listing
- Free to claim and manage.
- Correct name, address, phone, hours and website.
- One photo and a short description.
- Changes checked by hand.
The free listing is the right place to start. It gives you control over the basic information customers need.
Pro listing
- J$3,000 a month (about US$19 a month), or J$30,000 a year (about US$189 a year).
- More photos.
- A longer description with your menu highlights.
- A Pro label.
- A “Message this restaurant” form that sends messages to the owner’s email.
- Monthly views and clicks.
Pro is for a fuller presentation of your restaurant. You can use the extra space to explain your menu highlights, service style, location or opening hours in more detail.
Sponsored placement
- J$6,000 a month (about US$38 a month) founding rate, or J$60,000 a year (about US$377 a year).
- Placement on one food-type-in-town page, such as jerk in Montego Bay.
- At most two sponsored placements on each page.
- Always labelled “Sponsored”.
Sponsored placement is for a defined page and food type. It is not a general promise of priority across the directory. Ask about the exact page before you agree to the plan.
What payment changes
Payment can add more room to present your restaurant and, with Sponsored placement, a named place on a food-type-in-town page.
The Pro plan adds photos, description space, menu highlights, a Pro label, a direct message form and monthly views and clicks. Sponsored placement adds a labelled position on the agreed food-type-in-town page.
If you operate more than one branch, ask about each location through the contact form. The listed prices for Sponsored placement are per food-type-in-town page. Ask how a plan would apply to your locations before paying.
Website, phone and basic listing details are part of the claimed listing. The supplied plan facts do not include separate WhatsApp, social links, video, extra categories or update support as paid features. Ask about any detail you need, and request the current terms in writing.
Where Sponsored placement appears
Sponsored placement appears on the agreed food-type-in-town page, such as jerk in Montego Bay. There can be at most two sponsored placements on a page, and each one is labelled “Sponsored”.
The placement is defined by page and food type. Ask whether the position is fixed or rotates, how often it appears and what period the price covers. These details should be confirmed in writing before work starts.
Clear labels matter. The Jamaica Fair Trading Commission says advertising must be clear and unambiguous, and that a representation can be prohibited if it is capable of misleading, even without proof that someone was actually misled. Its information on misleading advertising also covers false or misleading claims about a product’s nature, character or performance.
Other directory and map services use similar distinctions. Google Maps identifies advertisements with a “Sponsored” label or special ad markers, while local ads can charge for actions such as opening business details, requesting directions, calling or visiting a website. See Google Maps Help about ads in Maps.
What payment does not change
Payment does not change reviews, ratings, badges, trust or independent directory information. It also does not promise calls, messages, bookings, covers, sales or revenue.
A paid position should not look like an independent review or an ordinary directory result. Sponsored placement is labelled so you can tell what you are viewing.
Established platforms separate profile subscriptions from sponsored advertising. TripAdvisor describes Business Advantage as a paid profile product with controls, contact links and analytics. It treats Sponsored Placements as advertising and states that placement, position, ranking and effectiveness are not guaranteed. Its Business Advantage and Sponsored Placement terms also show why billing period, placement and conditions should be clear before purchase.
Contract, cancellation and statistics
Weh Fi Nyam plans have no contracts, and you can cancel at any time.
Plans are arranged through the contact form until online checkout exists. Ask about the current plan terms, cancellation process and what happens to paid features after cancellation before paying.
Pro includes monthly views and clicks. For any other reporting, ask what the figures mean and what period they cover. You may want to ask whether statistics include listing views, website clicks, phone clicks, WhatsApp clicks, contact-form messages, directions or page placement.
A click is not the same as a completed customer action. Statistics can show activity on a listing or placement, but they do not promise a booking, sale or visit.
Ask the right question before paying
You can use the contact form to select a practical reason for getting in touch:
- Claim a listing.
- Ask about Pro.
- Ask about Sponsored placement.
- Ask about pricing.
- Ask about contract or cancellation.
- Ask what statistics are included.
- Update a business detail.
If you are comparing plans, include the restaurant name, location, branch details if relevant, and the food-type-in-town page you are asking about. We will confirm the plan and price in writing before work starts.
Frequently asked questions
Is claiming a restaurant listing free?
Yes. A claimed listing is free to manage, with the basic business details, one photo and a short description. You can claim the listing first and then ask about a paid plan.
Does the free listing stay active indefinitely?
There is no monthly fee for a claimed listing. Keep the business details current, and contact Weh Fi Nyam if you have a question about the listing’s status or need an update.
Can I pay to improve my reviews or rating?
No. Payment is for presentation or labelled placement. It does not change reviews, ratings, badges, trust or independent directory information.
Is Sponsored placement the same as a regular listing?
No. Sponsored placement is paid placement on an agreed food-type-in-town page, with at most two sponsored placements per page. It is labelled “Sponsored” so the paid position is clear.
Can I check out online?
Not yet. Plans are arranged through the contact form. Ask about the plan, price, cancellation and available statistics before paying.
